One-day army

Today wake up at freaking 5.45am to catch the 1st bus to meet wif chiupee, Cyril and leeism... so nice to meet up wif all the ex-company, ex-platoon mates... attend 6 hours of boring briefing, all bout ICT stuff, and how important the miw website is... den came the worse: IPPT... well, it was good and bad for mi cos for the good - i haf problems logging in the website and booking the IPPT, so i haf settle my year's IPPT once and for all... or rather, for tis year only... and for the bad - i haf mentioned tat i haven had any real fitness training since my exams and i'm the worse in standing board jump... haha, tat's the problem wif my short legs... fortunately, luck was on my side and i managed to jump a reasonable 4 pts... yeah! so happy!

Den after tat, i showed my unglamorous side -- dressed in the same PT kit, wif a backpack filled wif smart 4, boots and towel, dragging myself around due to my blisters on both my small toes, wif unkempt hair and a bag of chicken rice for my dinner... well, gotta eat dinner and grab some sleep liao... *yawn*

Army

Unbelievable, the green uniform and boots haf came back to haunt mi again, less than a year since i ORD... yes, tml morning i haf to report to sungei gedong camp for ICT briefing... and to make things worse, haf an IPPT as well... oh man, it's been so long after exams tat i actually haf any real fitness training... haha, at least there r other camp buddies to share my woes, such as chiupee... it's jus reservist, wat the heck...

Replay

(WARNING: SOCCER CONTENT, NOT WELL SUITED FOR GIRLS..)
It's just a replay... it's just a replay of the Energizer battery never-say-die spirit, but tis time passed on from the 1999 Man-U side to the 2005 transformed Liverpool side.. Milan started wif 3 quality goals, set-piece, tap-in, through pass... but alas, many haf witnessed it, how Liverpool convert a 3 goal deficit to a draw, den stole the Champions League cup from Milan wif an amazing penalty shootout... as always, the man in front of the goalpost will haf the final say...

It really reminds mi of the FA cup final recently between Man U and Arsenal... Man U is attacking wif flair and style, just like Milan, but it's always the goalkeeper who has to do his job well... Jens Lehmann and Jerzy Dudek has always been critized of poor form, but tis time they haf proved themselves and came out as heroes... Like wat Robin has said, Benitez IS a master tactician, he employed Hamann to hold the midfield cos Milan has a lot of attacking midfielders who r very good at through passes... 3-man defense sometimes is not enough, so we could c Steven Gerrard even came back to defend when Serginho threatened to tear down the left flank... My heart really goes out to my dear roomie, their constant attacks almost bear fruit if not for not one, but two unbelievable saves by Dudek from Shevchenko...

The penalty shootout was entertaining too.. the misses, the saves, the wobbly-legged dance by Dudek, and the cheering and chanting of Liverpool fans surrounding mi... when Gerrard headed in their 1st goal, the fans r already singing "LI-VER-POOL~~~ LI-VER-POOL~~~", just like those at Istanbul, so fun, even i joined in the dramatic chaos, although mi not fan of Liverpool myself... Congrats to all Liverpool fans, enjoy ur moment for now, cos Lady Luck may disappear in a blink of an eye...

Puma

Went to buy shoes at the Puma shop in Takashimaya... the one beside the Stadium sports shop or for the ladies, the shop one level below Zara... the shoe box was wrapped in a red rectangular plastic bag wif the white puma logo on it... nothing special, onli tat when i took out the shoe box, i discover this at the bottom of the bag

Proud

If u happen to chance on June's issue of FEMALE magazine, there's one person i'm proud of who shows up on page 183... she's none other than my sister... wait a minute, u say, does tat mean she's a model? no, of cos not, all she gets in return is a free haircut and free dye on her hair... she always haf this kind of lobangs, once she even ask mi to find gal friends who r chio to work part time at roadshows... now i believe her tat she was once approached by some model agents... but then again, who knows tat these agents might be frauds... judge not the book by its cover!! nevertheless, i'm still proud of her grabbing a tiny space of her own on a magazine, it's not everyday tat u appear on magazines..

For those who are not a fan of FEMALE magazines or fail to browse thru them becos of shop owners/assistants/helpers/security cameras, here's a picture of her to satisfy u all using my lousy phone camera...

Slacking

Oh man, the after-exam slacking days r always tat wonderful... Non-stop gaming, even though there is GE module to attend... Slacking all the way in hall... Guess ppl around mi r doing the same... One thing i had to get back on is my fitness... Although i'm not a fitness guru like my dear roomie Robin, i still hope to get my body going again... Soccer was thwarted last week by a stupid downpour but i managed to swim a few laps today wif sw... still got the upcoming night cycling thing, hope it will b fun... can someone draw a training plan 4 mi? sigh... in the meantime, back to gaming!!

Party!!!

Wed mambo at zouk!! great way to end our gruelling exams... went there to b introduced to sw's nanyang girl's classmates as well... interesting frens i would say... perhaps it's been a long time since i stepped into zouk, can't really feel the mambo-ness i felt on the old days... haha, who m i kidding, i'm not tat of a frequent clubber anyway, juz tat the mambo songs din came at the right time for mi... tried phuture, but it's pure packed like sardines... not surprisingly, met a lot of hall oners there...
